Resistant Materials Teacher

MPS/UPS Pay Scale

To start September 2022

We became an all through school in September 2012.  At Waverley we create an environment which allows everyone to develop mutual respect for each other and a respect for learning.

This is an exciting time to join Waverley Education Foundation Trust. We have landmark buildings equipped with state of the art and design technology facilities for learning, teaching and training. As part of the exciting growth plans for the Trust, we are expanding our team to meet future requirements.

We are looking for a highly motivated and committed individual to join our team as a Resistant Materials Teacher.

They will be expected to deliver outstanding lessons to ensure excellence and achievement for all learners, with a true commitment to raising standards.  Applicants will need to have experience of using a variety of approaches to continually enhance teaching and learning throughout the school and across the full age and ability range.  You will also need to have excellent communication skills and the ability to forge strong working relationships with stakeholders.

Ofsted (November 2021) commented that ‘Pupils are happy to come to this school…. and the curriculum is ambitious designed to stretch pupils regardless of their starting point.’

The successful candidate will need to meet the requirements of the person specification in order to be offered the post and will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.

We welcome applications regardless of age, gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity or religion. Only applications submitted on the schools application form will be accepted.

Waverley School is committed to the protection and safety of its students.
