We are a Humanities Specialist College which became an all through school in September 2012.  We achieved IIP Gold in December 2013.  At Waverley we try to create an environment which allows everyone to develop mutual respect for each other and a respect for learning. This is an exciting time to join WaverleySchool.

We have new landmark buildings that provide everyone with state of the art facilities for learning, teaching and training. As part of the exciting growth plans for the School, we are expanding our team to meet future requirements.  We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team as part time Lunchtime Supervisor.

Lunchtime Supervisors will be responsible for supervising pupils as they eat their lunch in the dining area and also outside in the playground areas.  The role is about supporting our pupils in continuing to develop their personal and social skills. Supervisors support pupils in following routines around the school during lunchtime.  In addition, the role includes supporting pupils in establishing and following school procedures and routines in the dining area and in the playground.  Supervisors are expected to be a good role model to our pupils as they work with them in a reliable, committed and dedicated way, showing a genuine interest in their continuing development and well-being.

You need to be able to work as part of a team. Previous experience would be an advantage, but is not necessary. Secondary/Primary Monday to Friday 9.50a.m. – 1.50p.m.  There may on occasion be the need to work additional hours so a flexible approach to working hours would be beneficial.
