Waverley Education Foundation (WEF) is a Multi Academy Trust, which operates both Waverley School and Waverley Studio College. WEF has over 1900 pupils on roll across the trust. It develops, brokers and delivers a range of services which support learning and leadership & management and improve outcomes for children and young people.

 

Waverley Studio College opened in September 2013 and caters for students at key stages 4 and 5. With up to 75 students in each cohort the college has provision for up to 300 students.

This is an exciting opportunity to be the welcoming face of our facilities, supporting local community groups, sports clubs, faith organisations, adult education providers and private hirers.

What you'll do

  • Act as the first point of contact for customers and hirers.
  • Open and secure school facilities.
  • Set up and put away equipment for activities and events.
  • Monitor facility use and ensure a safe environment.
  • Carry out basic cleaning of facilities and changing areas.
  • Record bookings, attendance and incidents accurately.
  • Ensure customers comply with hire agreements and site procedures.
  • Liaise with the facilities team to resolve any issues.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Is dependable and able to work independently.
  • Can work flexibly across evenings and weekends.
  • Understands the importance of health and safety procedures.
  • Can maintain accurate records and handle information confidentially.
  • Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

All applicants must be able to communicate effectively with pupils, All applicants must also have the relevant qualifications and A* - C GCSE in English or equivalent.

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.

The successful candidate will need to meet the requirements of the person specification in order to be offered the post and will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
