Waverley School/Waverley Studio College has been judged outstanding by OFSTED on three occasions; in 2010, 2012 and 2014. We are a Humanities Specialist College which became an all through school in September 2012. At Waverley Education Foundation Trust we try to create an environment which allows everyone to develop mutual respect for each other and a respect for learning. 

This is an exciting time to join Waverley Education Foundation Trust.  We have new landmark buildings that provide everyone with state of the art facilities for learning, teaching and training. As part of the exciting growth plans for the Trust, we are expanding our team to meet future requirements.  We are looking for an experienced and influential Art Teacher to join our team at Waverley Education Foundation Trust. You will be required to work across both schools - Waverley School and Waverley Studio College.

The ideal candidate will have an excellent track record of teaching and student progress within a successful Secondary School/Studio College.  They will be expected to provide outstanding lessons to ensure excellence and achievement for all learners, with a true commitment to raising standards.   You will need to have experience of using a variety of approaches to continually enhance teaching and learning throughout the school and across the full age and ability range.  You will also need to have excellent communication skills and the ability to forge strong working relationships within the Art & Technology Team and school as a whole. 

The successful candidate will need to meet the requirements of the person specification in order to be offered the post and will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
